Digium VoIP hardware

Digium™ offers a growing lineup of telephony and data interface devices for the Linux platform. These devices share innovative design and small form factors, making them ideal for high density solutions.

Combined with Asterisk™ The Open Source PBX, these cards provide an interface to traditional telephony equipment, such as channel banks and provider T1 lines. Asterisk can extend the capabilities of the phone network, by acting as a bridge between traditional telephony systems and Voice over IP equipment.

These devices offer scalability, flexibility and density, at a market-leading value.

Wildcard TE411P

Digium TE411P The TE411P is the next generation of Digium hardware that offers an on-board echo cancellation module. It supports E1, T1, and J1 environments and is selectable on a per-card or per-port basis.

The echo cancellation module supports all T1, E1, and J1 channels and improves voice quality in environments where software echo cancellation is not sufficient. The TE411P reduces CPU overhead required for software echo cancellation thereby, freeing resources for other processes, such as codec translation. By supporting 16ms with 128 channels or 64ms on 32 channels this card will perform in the most difficult of environments.

The TE411P supports industry standard telephony and data protocols, including Primary Rate ISDN (both N. American and Standard Euro) protocol families for voice, PPP, Cisco, HDLC, and Frame Relay data modes. Both line-side and trunk-side interfaces are supported, also included are advanced call features. The TE411P is for use only with a 3.3 volt PCI slot.

The TE411P is certified for Europe, North America, and Australia.

Wildcard TE410P

Digium TE410P The TE410P is the next generation of Digium hardware that improves performance and scalability through bus mastering architecture. The TE410P supports E1, T1, and J1 environments and is selectable on a per-card or per-port basis. This feature enables signaling translation between E1, T1, J1 equipment and allows inexpensive T1 channel banks to connect with E1 circuits. Because the TE410P improves I/O speed by up to 10 times, the result is reduced CPU usage and increased card density per server.

Digium cards are smarter! Second-generation firmware for Digium multispan TE-series hardware PCI cards, provides several new features. These features allow Digium cards to do more work in hardware and leaving the server's CPU open to do other tasks, all of which contribute to less CPU overhead, and therefore improved performance, and more channels running through a single PC or server.

  • TDM channel alignment in hardware (instead of software), for greater voice integrity and reliability.
  • Master clock source distribution for synchronized timing across multiple cards, assuring synchronization of clocks and increasing reliability and quality of data transmission.
  • Zero-latency TDM direct hardware-level cross-connect
  • Support for new echo-cancellation module which further increases performance.
  • DTMF detection can be done in hardware with echo cancellation module.
  • Field upgradable firmware for future updates.

The TE410P supports a 3.3v PCI slot only - typically available on newer motherboards and in 64-bit PCI bus architectures.

Wildcard TE406P

Digium TE406P The TE406P is the next generation of Digium hardware that offers an on-board echo cancellation module. It supports E1, T1, and J1 environments and is selectable on a per-card or per-port basis.

The echo cancellation module supports all T1, E1, and J1 channels and improves voice quality in environments where software echo cancellation is not sufficient. The TE406P reduces CPU overhead required for software echo cancellation thereby, freeing resources for other processes, such as codec translation. By supporting 16ms with 128 channels or 64ms on 32 channels this card will perform in the most difficult of environments.

The TE406P supports industry standard telephony and data protocols, including Primary Rate ISDN (both N. American and Standard Euro) protocol families for voice, PPP, Cisco, HDLC, and Frame Relay data modes. Both line-side and trunk-side interfaces are supported, also included are advanced call features. The TE406P is for use only with a 5.0 volt PCI slot.

Wildcard TE405P

Digium TE405P The TE405P is the next generation of Digium hardware that improves performance and scalability through bus mastering architecture. The TE405P supports both E1, T1, J1 environments and is selectable on a per-card or per-port basis. This feature enables signaling translation between E1, T1, and J1 equipment and allows inexpensive T1 channel banks to connect with E1 circuits. Because the TE405P improves I/O speed by up to 10 times, the result is reduced CPU usage and increased card density per server.

The TE405P is for use only with a 5.0 volt PCI slot.

Wildcard TE210P

Digium TE210P The TE210P is the next generation of Digium hardware that improves performance and scalability through bus mastering architecture. The TE210P supports E1, T1, and J1 environments and is selectable on a per-card or per-port basis. This feature enables signaling translation between E1, T1, J1 equipment and allows inexpensive T1/J1 channel banks to connect with E1 circuits. Because the TE210P improves I/O speed by up to 10 times, the result is reduced CPU usage and increased card density per server.

The TE210P supports a 3.3v PCI slot only - typically available on newer motherboards and in 64-bit PCI bus architectures.

Wildcard TE205P

Digium TE205P The TE205P is the next generation of Digium hardware that improves performance and scalability through bus mastering architecture. The TE205P supports both E1 and T1/J1 environments and is selectable on a per-card or per-port basis. This feature enables signaling translation between E1 and T1/J1 equipment and allows inexpensive T1/J1 channel banks to connect with E1 circuits. Because the TE205P improves I/O speed over slave-only architecture, the result is reduced CPU usage and increased card density per server.

The TE205P is for use only with a 5.0-volt PCI slot.

Wildcard TE110P

Digium TE110P The Wildcard TE110P brings a high-performance, cost-effective, and flexible single span togglable T1, E1, J1 interface to the Digium line-up of telephony interface devices. The TE110P is a single span, selectable T1 (24-channel), E1 (32-channel), or J1 (24-channel) card that supports all the functionality of our quad T1/E1/J1 card. This card supports both voice and data modes on its single span. For example, the card can support 12 channels dedicated to voice and 12 to data while passing all traffic through to the Asterisk Open Source PBX, which reliably routes the channels to their designated locations. This eliminates the need for an external router. The TE110P works in both 3V and 5V slots by autodetecting the slot's voltage.

Wildcard TDM400P

Digium TDM400P The Wildcard TDM400P is a half-length PCI 2.2-compliant card that supports FXS and FXO station interfaces for connecting analog telephones and analog POTS lines through a PC. Using Digium's Asterisk Open Source PBX software and standard PC hardware, one can create a SOHO (Small Office Home Office) telephony environment that includes all the sophisticated features of a high-end business telephone system.

The TDM400P takes the place of an expensive channel bank and brings the system price point to a low level. By using X100M and S100M modules with the TDM400P, one can create a solution with support for a range of telephones. To scale this solution, simply add additional TDM400P cards populated with modules.

Digium X100M

Digium X100M The X100M FXO module allows the TDM400P card to termiante analog telephone lines (POTS). Because of the modular design, a user can activate additional ports at any time with more S100M or X100M daughter cards. The X100M module passes all the call features any standard analog telephone line will support. Worldwide certifications are pending.

Digium S100M

Digium S100M The S100M FXS module allows the TDM400P card to terminate analog telephones. Because of the modular design, a user can activate additional ports at any time with more S100M or X100M daughter cards. The S100M module passes all the call features any standard analog telephone will support.
