Backup Reminders

| This service is designed to ease the process of determining correct tape to be used each day. Once subscribed, first notification will be delivered to your inbox during the next weekday morning (7:00am, Australian Eastern Standard Time, GMT+10)
Backup rotation cycle supported by this service is known as GFS (grandfather, father, son). This roation cycle simplifies tape handling by organising rotation into daily, weekly, and monthly backup tapes, and requires 21 tapes for the year:
- Monday through to Thursday = 4 tapes
- Friday 1 through to Friday 5 = 5 tapes
- End of Month 1 through to End of Month 12 = further 12 tapes
Total of 21 tapes
If you require additional tapes please do not hesitate to contact us, we are equipped to supply most types of data and cleaning cartridges from DDS DAT, DLT, SDLT, AIT and others at very competitive prices.
