| VMware Workstation 6 Desktop Virtualization Software Wins 2008 InfoWorld Technology of the Year Award. PALO ALTO, Calif., January 8, 2008 — VMware Workstation 6 has won InfoWorld’s 2008 Technology of the Year Award for desktop virtualization. Winners were announced earlier this week on the InfoWorld site.
