Tuesday, 03 February 2009
GFI has been nominated for two ‘Product of the Year’ awards in the annual Network Computing 2009 Awards...
GFI LANguard and GFI MailArchiver have been nominated for the Network Management Product of the Year award and Messaging Product of the Year award respectively. Nominations closed in January and those products that received the most support in each category were put on a short-list of finalists.

“This is great news for GFI and for our engineering teams who have worked incessantly to provide our customers with innovative and highly functional products to help them protect their network and manage their email systems,” GFI’s Vice-President of Marketing, Ed Harnish, said.

“GFI MailArchiver and GFI LANguard are excellent products – easy to install and use – and offer fantastic value for money. That they have been shortlisted for these awards is evidence of their popularity and standing among IT experts,” he added.

The 2009 Network Computing Awards are an opportunity for the magazine’s readers to recognize the products, services and companies that have most impressed them. The 24 categories reflect the wide range of application areas that impact on the modern day networks.

With the exception of the Editors Choice and Network Project of the Year categories, winners are all be determined by on-line nominating and voting. There are no pre-set criteria for these reader-determined awards. People are free to nominate any company and any product.
